Ways to make the work day go quicker

So maybe this is just a self reflection (since no one reads this anywyay..or do they? lol) anywayyyyy ways to make the day at work go quicker!!

1. Do something, Don't do Nothing - While doing nothing is really relaxing, not to mention easy ;) , it isnt necessarily the best way to pass the time, especially considering boredom, and the consequences of getting caught lol, but basically doing something, even if its just something like sweeping up the work area, passes time a lot quicker than just standing (or sitting?) while not doing anything

2. Have a conversation when possible! - now i'm not saying to go full chatterbox, and talk nonstop - i dont reccomend that LOL, but talk where possible! get to know the person youre working with!
where did they come form? what do they do? are they wanting to go some other career? :D not only does it massively help pass the time, but who knows you might end up becoming friends? :D

3. Stop checking the time! - one of the most demoralizing things ive found when the day seems to be going so slowww, is when i used to constantly check the time, and would almost wince in pain, to see what felt like an hour was only half an hour, or there's still 2 more hours until knock off time (go home)  - since then what i noticed which is far better is just ignore the time completely, even if you want make mental guesstimates of the time in certain situations (try to guess a lower time rather than a higher time though)
and just basically check it as little as possible - once i did that, i was always surprised (and happy!) to see that in most cases over an hour or 2 had passed since i last checked! :D

4. If all else fails try to see the good side in things - one of the worst things when working is to not like the job youre doing, which ive had the misfortune of a lot over the years, and trust me, having a positive attitude rather than a negative or aggressive attitude is a LOT better! makes the time pass significantly quicker, and makes the job a lot more enjoyable (if its enjoyable at all) - for example like me who has no hand eye coordination and started getting agitated at "handfilling the belt" (opposed to the usual hopper filling - which was leaving marks on the magazines that day) once i  kinda changed my attitude to thinking of it as an art/ or a skill, it became a lot more easier and enjoyable - though in parts i missed was still frustrating/agitating/really pissed me off LOL but yeah - this one is probably the hardest to do, and takes practise, but once youre able to do it where needed, it helps a ton :D

Hopefully some/any of this helps, all of them have helped me massively, and if they do end up helping you /or you have other techniques - feel free to comment! :D

Work stuffeys

hmmmm so ok i did say before that i hated factory work and stuff arrr but then of the 2 weeks, last 2 days...i guess not too bad, got a single magazine job, then stacking just one hopper, then small/easy yellow pages one :D
so yeah i dunno....i guess never under estimate the power of friendship (as lame/weird as that sounds haha) lol cause the past 2 weeks there was a new guy working the other end of the machine i said hi and introduced to, but didnt get to talk to much until about the last 2/3 days of this week, where i got to talk to him some more and hes awesome!!!! haha so that being said ...was it all worth it? i say yes, since i guess i made a new friend :D and also of course got a pretty good paycheck for 2 weeks work :D
so yeah...i dunno, while i still dont really like factory work lol i guess it'll do for now :)

and also random!!!! lol i actually got worse cuts from the paper/cardboard than knifes! loool!!!! like nicked myself a few times accidentaly while cutting the plastic ties on magazines, and hardly cut a few layers of skin, compared to when i carried a big cardboard sheet, big cut below my thumb that almost bled! loool luckily it didnt though cause then gotta report it...oh&s...get in trouble....all that painful stuff lool so yeah i guess some of it is also the disproportional handling of the paper/cardboard edges, compared to handling the steel part of the knife...LOL so yeah but still papercuts and especially cardboardcuts are nasty!!! and they sting like a bitch!!!!! hahaha

Why Tom Hardy aka Tommy Riordan shouldv'e won in Warrior

sooooo not gonna add an image to this one cause of painful copyright stuff...really??? lol another thing for another post
anyway getting back to the topic, The MMA fight movie Warrior was highly reviewed, acclaimed, praised, all that stuff, and trust me its good, i saw it in the cinemas when it was released
but.....the crucial element i forgot when i decided to rewatch it, the ending...just blllaahhh...well to understand my beef so to speak i have to tell you a bit about the movie in case you havent seen it:
The movie in my opinion is heavily centered on Tom Hardy aka movie name Tommy Riordan aka mega awesome badass who easily bashes and knocks out one of the world contenders at his local gym (in a warmup)
so yeah lots of indepth stuff on tommy, who at the start and throughout movie learn has issues with father, and moved out at a young age with his mother due to his dads past alcholism, many other aspects of it are subtly shown/talked about but anywayyyyyy

cut to the friendly physics teacher and family man, tommys distant brother, Brendan Conlon, who does mma as a secret side thing at stripclub parking lots, a good and decent guy in his own right, but in my opinion by no means a fighter (which ill touch on soon) and suddenly gets suspended form teaching after other staff/principal find out he'd been fighting, without a job for a while, and house/family fees/whatever else hes got going decides to try and join the MMA tournament sparta, winner takes all 5 mil prize moneyand heres where it gets interesting....tommy decides to enter for some reason which eludes me, but later on satates giving all money to widow of army buddy if won, while brendan doing it for his and familys lifestyle - still ok right?

so to the fights...Tommy like the true awesome badass one, knocks out/dominates and beats every guy, while on the exact opposite spectrum, Brendan is quite literally getting the crap beaten out of him in EVERY fight and only squeezing his way through and winning via submission, and then of course it comes down to brother vs brother  - if you dont want spoilers now's the time to look away-so tommy continues on his way it seems, beating down brendan in the fight, though his brother kept saying emotional stuff i dont know! loool but yeah somehow brendan ends up dislocating tommy's his shoulder since he refused to tap, and then tommy continues to fight, but obviously with a dislocated shoulder theres not much you can do, so eventually brendan again got into another submission fianlly getting tommy to tap out and then saying all this forgiveness and im sorry i love you stuff...arrrrrrr

alright dont get me wrong im not gonna bash that part of the movie in itself, im doing it for its placement...wheres the badass tommy gone??? wheres all my awesome in depth development???? wheres that guy who beat the crap out of everyone gone!

all gone..... :(  while brendans story may in its own context/focus/movie be a good one, in this movie its just ovverrode the complete movie pretty much and just took a dump on the ending for me putting it quite simply thats what it did to the ending, bottom line, dont go ruining my awesome/badass/violent movie with some family man emotional guy winning in the end!!! save that for another movie!!!!!! so yeah thats my reason whyyyy i think tom hardy definately should have won, yes very opinionated i know, lol but sure beats non biased reviews for sure!!! 1000x more fun to write lol
